WHY MOVING THE GRIEF & SHAME OUT OF YOUR BODY ACTUALLY WORKS...

Forty-five women ages 23–48 years were randomized to a 12-session virtual creative dance/movement program or a usual care control group, and completed questionnaires about PTSD and mental health symptoms, general health, physical activity.

The results of the study showed that the female survivors of intimate partner violence who participated in the virtual workshops felt better, and they experienced improved affect and reduced tension. They found new ways to express themselves, attune to their bodies, learn new self-care habits, and build community as they engaged in the workshops. Over the course of the study, the participants' symptoms of PTSD and psychological distress lessened.

"Classical dance stimulates motivational behavior for life long learning."

 Dancer, actor, choreographer, director and mentor has inspired young people to dance since 1970, taking students to perform and study different cultures around the world. 

Her strong vision and mission of "Goodwill Through Dance" has enriched the lives of innumerable young people, particularly in Boston and Central Pennsylvania, and as far as Russia.

 

Cultural exchange has always been part of her dance conservatory, Movement Laboratory - the philosophy and purpose. For Judy, movement is the universal language, as well as a vehicle for peace and understanding.

Glow

It all started with There She Glows, a skincare line dedicated to helping women create small meaningful moments in their life, caring for themselves. Each product created has a love song you can listen to while using the product, the song is exactly the length of time you are supposed to use the product and carries the frequency of the product into your daily life.

Move

There She Moves are the pop up dance and movement workshops that encourage healing through community. Whether you've never danced before or grew up dancing, we create safe spaces to use your body as a vessel for emotional work.

There is Knows are the writing prompts we send out to our subscribers and the mental health experts we bring on our live podcast that speak on inner & shadow work. Knowing yourself is a journey and we all need help along the way.

There She Loves are the activites we send out to our subscribers weekly that encourage small moments of love in their life. We cover romantic, platonic and self love activities.

There She Builds are the insights we share with our subscribers on business, finance, and wealth through accredited experts and mentors. We are all striving to build a life that we don't want to escape from.

There She Grows is the commitment and accountable collective available to our subscribers. Growth requires community and in this quarterly meet up group we have  adult play days around the theme of growth. Examples: flower picking and arranging, creative journal meet up, gardening workshops, natural hair growth classes.
